OUR COACHES

The success of the 2XV team has taken them all the way to the Conference Cup Finals. The quality coaching and high class leadership has motivated and challenged the girls to keep improving throughout the year

WILL WITHYMAN

I've really enjoyed being a coach of DUWRFC the past two years. As a coaching team, we have tried to create an incredibly welcoming club to maximise players' enthusiasm and talent in the squad. It's also been great to learn new skills as a coach and improve myself through this leadership role.

DOM GOMMO

Coaching the Development Squad has been an honour and a pleasure. It is very rewarding seeing aspects of training come through into gameplay. It has also been a great way to meet new people and make friends within the wider rugby community.

The season for the 2s so far has been fantastic, with some great wins under our belt, as well as a loss that taught us some invaluable lessons for our matches to come. As a team we are in a unique position in that we have both performance and development squad members, which gives us an amazing array of talent and a high standard to strive for. We are heading into our last few matches of the season, including the chance to reach the final of the cup, and I for one am so proud to captain this group of players approaching this great opportunity!
