DUWRFC SEVENS
Following the XV's season, DUWRFC enters 7s season, with two teams competing in BUCS and other national tournament events.
Many of our girls also play for Durham Chimera Sevens, an elite level Northern England 7s team that compete annually in national and overseas tournaments.

ABOUT US
Established in 2018.
The Lion. Featured in Durham Coat of Arms, is often used to symbolise courage and strength. Building North Eastern Rugby to be a strong force in England.
The Snake. In North American culture the snake shedding its skin is often associated with transformation and rebirth. Chimera Rugby aims to transform and develop our players over time through access to quality coaching, resources and playing opportunities.
The Goat. Whilst one of the earliest domesticated animals in human history, the goat will readily go into the wild if given the chance. Through Chimera Rugby we want to offer our players the opportunity to play rugby in new environments and continually challenge our players to extend themselves, towards a goal of being the Greatest Of All Time.
